Security Clearance

Specifically, government requirements mandate that employers conduct a pre-clearance suitability investigation to determine if problems exist in an applicant's background prior to the federal investigation being conducted. In many cases, these pre-clearance suitability investigations are not being done, or are not being appropriately adjudicated, resulting in a backlog of cases in some stage of administrative review. This problem has proven to be extremely costly to both the government and the contractors working on classified programs. To address this issue, Gregg offers our clients pre-clearance suitability investigations meeting government standards. In addition, Gregg has developed, and submitted for government endorsement, a clearance matrix listing all categories of derogatory information and examples of what would be limiting factors in clearance processing. The matrix offers our clients the ability to make an informed decision on if an applicant merits being submitted for a security clearance.
